New tool launched for education professionals and the school community

The Contigo en la educación podcast premiered today with the purpose of promoting discussion on the country's educational reality, parenting matters, and educational technology, among other topics.

The new communication initiative from the cultural and educational organization SM can be accessed through the digital platforms Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

Among the primary topics of interest to be explored alongside experts in the field of education are the challenges and opportunities for individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, and the signs shown by students who need occupational therapy, among others. A new episode will be published every Monday.

“Contigo en la educación is a podcast where interviewees and key figures will share valuable information on matters of importance in the field of education. The podcast is moderated by María Mercedes Grau, head of Pedagogical Advisory at SM Puerto Rico. SM already contributes to education in Puerto Rico through various avenues, and the time has come to do so through a podcast. With this initiative, we aim to share content in an engaging way for anyone interested in educational subjects,” stated Edna Rodríguez, Communication Manager at SM.

Rodríguez reaffirmed that another objective of the platform is to provide all audiences with relevant topics to keep the education of our island as a high-priority area.

“We are excited to continuously invest in Puerto Rican education and to reinforce knowledge among school communities in Puerto Rico; therefore, we invite you to be a proactive part of this initiative and submit your topics of interest on our Facebook platform to include them in future episodes,” she concluded.
